Presenter: Anne Tapaszi—MTP Specialist, Teachstone
Anne Tapaszi is a CLASS trainer and MyTeachingPartner™ (MTP™) coach and specialist with Teachstone. She has more than 25 years of experience in education. Anne has taught across age ranges, but the bulk of her experience is in early childhood education. She was introduced to the CLASS framework while teaching Head Start in Virginia. A teacher in the original MTP research study, she brings a unique perspective on the CLASS tool and MTP Coaching.
Teachstone and the National Head Start Association will host a series of one-day interactive boot camps for the Head Start community. Head Start leaders will gain skills and tips for improving teacher-student interactions, helping programs to boost their CLASS™ scores. The boot camp instructors will also be available during lunch to answer questions about how the CLASS measure can be used in dual-language settings. Each session will conclude with an emphasis on next steps and resources.
Participants will also:
· Receive a free Pre-K CLASS Dimensions Guide.
· Have the opportunity to participate in a follow-up webinar hosted by Teachstone’s instructors to review key lessons, address obstacles to implementation, and answer remaining questions.
