Happy Birthday, Head Start!

Head Start will turn 59 years old on May 18.

“Project Head Start” was launched in 1965 as a comprehensive child development program. Over the last six decades, it has served more than 39 million children and families.

Join the celebration by sharing a Happy Birthday message between Thursday, May 16 and Saturday, May 18 on social media.

The Head Start promise is simple: every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, has the ability to reach their full potential.
