Your "mission possible" begins September 20-23, 2010. Should you choose to accept it, your task is to join us at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC to learn about all hot Head Start topics. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in this year's special enhanced Hill visits. These visits are vital to our Head Start mission.

Mission Possible: Accessing Opportunities on Head Start's Horizon
The NHSA Leadership Institute is fast approaching! Join us on September 20-23, 2010 at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC to learn about and discuss hot Head Start topics, such as program quality, accountability, appropriations, immigration, and parent engagement amongst many other pressing and important topics. And if that isn’t enough to entice you, we will be hosting Enhanced Hill Visits to strongly push Head Start’s appropriation in FY 2011.

Voinovich and Dodd will be honored at NHSA Leadership Institute
On September 22, 2010, NHSA will be pleased to honor Senator George Voinovich (R-OH) and Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) at this year's NHSA Leadership Institute. At the reception, sponsored by the Connecticut Head Start Association and the Ohio Head Start Association in partnership with NHSA, we will honor the Senators' hard work to better the lives of children across the country. On September 22, 2010, the National Head Start Association will host The Dream Lives On: Celebrating 45 Years of Head Start. The celebration will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC. This anniversary celebration will bring together friends and supporters of Head Start from across the country. We will pay special tribute to the visionaries who had a hand in building this commitment to America’s children and to the exceptional Head Start alumni and parents who are the beneficiaries.
