NHSA will lead vulnerable children and families to a secure future by ensuring that Head Start remains the premier child development service in America.

To provide a unified national voice which serves as a catalyst to influence federal legislation and policies that impact Head Start children and families.

To provide high quality professional development opportunities and other support services for Head Start staff and parents.

To provide adequate human and capital resources to support the mission of NHSA.
