Relational and Compassionate Leadership

Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. EDT

The power to galvanize, inspire, and lead others is not easy-it requires heart-felt conversations that matter-conversations that teach, challenge, support, and help us all grow.  In this webinar, Dr. Marilyn Hosea will point to evidence-informed research to help us understand why relational and compassionate leadership techniques work so well in programs like Head Start.

She will also draw upon her personal and professional experience as a Head Start Administrator and Training and Technical Assistance Consultant/Provider to discuss practical ways of igniting others to do their best for themselves, the organization, and the community in which they serve.

This webinar is offered to Head Start staff in leadership positions and those interested in the topic. This webinar will also serve as a follow-up to the presentation made by Dr. Hosea at the Managers and Directors Academy (MDA) 2015. However, prior attendance at the MDA is not required in order to engage in this presentation.
