Senate Subcommittee Holds Hearing on Quality Early Education

On June 9th, the Senate Subcommittee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions held a hearing entitled "Getting the Most Bang for Your Buck: Quality Early Education." Senators Franken, Casey, and Snowe Author Letter Supporting Head Start

The three Senators authored a letter urging the Chair and Ranking Member of the appropriations subcommittee that funds Head Start to support Head Start and other early learning initiatives. 4th of July Advocacy Activities

If your community has an Independence Day parade, please be sure to have Head Start families represented and participating.  You can decorate and take your yellow bus or have a friendly business invite you to their float. Take pictures and send them to us and post them to your Members of Congress' Facebook pages!
