Ron Herndon Calls For Action To Prevent Cuts

Ron Herndon appeared on NHSA Radio this week with an appeal for the Head Start Community to take strong action to convince Congress to not cut Head Start funding.
He called for everyone to participate in a national Stroll-in Wednesday, February 23, when Members of Congress are on break and are in their home districts. Thousands of Head Start parents, friends, and others concerned about their local economy will pack their kids into strollers and "stroll-in" to their Congressional Representative's office and explain why cutting Head Start would be disasterous to their local community.
