The National Head Start Association is providing Cooking Matters at the Store mini-grants to reach 10,000 Head Start families this yearIn partnership with Share Our Strength, the National Head Start Association is pleased to announce a Cooking Matters at the Store grant opportunity to programs who would like to offer tours in their community. Cooking Matters at the Store is an interactive grocery store tour that gives families new skills they can use to shop for healthy, affordable food. About the Mini-GrantsMini-grants of $100 each will help Head Start programs facilitate shopping tours for up to 25 people. Each mini-grant comes with easy-to-follow instructions, materials, and other fun stuff for families. Programs can request as many mini-grants as they can successfully facilitate before December, 2013.
