The Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation

The Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation (MIHOPE) is designed to build knowledge for policymakers and practitioners about the effectiveness of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV) in improving outcomes for at-risk children and families. MIHOPE Updates will be shared every few months to inform stakeholders of project progress, milestones and related information. Sign up for Updates or read the January 2013 Update.

Coming Up on February 6th: Fiscal Hot Spots in Head Start/EHS, a Head Start Legal Advisory Service Webinar

Tackle your fiscal issues. Attend the Head Start Legal Advisory Service’s upcoming webinar on fiscal issues, led by Ted Waters of Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, to learn about the most problematic fiscal areas for Head Start programs and how to address them on Wednesday, February 6th from 3-5 pm EST. A program’s fiscal records can trigger recompetition, so be sure to sign up for this training! At the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Address issues surrounding the 15% administrative cost cap;
  • Set straight how your agency deals with insurance and bonding requirements;
  • Verify how best to handle bonuses and incentive compensation; and
