We encourage Head Start teachers and parents to engage on Facebook each day of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8, 2015) by posting photos or videos of meaningful classroom interactions. These posts should demonstrate the importance of teachers in the lives of students, while providing a fun activity for the class to enjoy.
In celebration of Head Start's 50th anniversary, Teachstone and NHSA will share these images and videos on social media, and each day, Teachstone will randomly select one entrant to receive a Teacher Appreciation Day Basket of goodies PLUS one free year of access to the Teachstone Video Library.
How it Works:
Teachers or parents snap a photo or video clip (approximately 10-20 seconds) of meaningful classroom interactions and post to Teachstone’s Facebook page
using the hashtag #InteractionsMatter.
