Year-Round Sponsors receive premier sponsorship benefits at both Head Start national conferences and the three leadership events. Sponsorable Items & Events
Special Reception for Directors − Head Start directors from across the United States will gather, along with leadership officials, to discuss emerging issues important to those in the field. The sponsor’s logo will be prominently displayed at the event. A sponsor representative will welcome and make a few remarks to guests. Sponsorship also includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program. Sponsors are responsible for any food and beverage costs.
Networking Event for Agency Leadership − Head Start leaders and senior staff from around the nation will come together to network, share ideas, and talk about their program’s innovative approaches to delivering high-quality Head Start services. The sponsor is invited to greet the audience and discuss their company’s goals as they relate to early childhood education. Sponsorship also includes four tickets to the event and the company’s logo on program. Sponsors are responsible for any food and beverage costs.
Sponsored breakfast or luncheon − NHSA will work with sponsors to invite a targeted group of 25-50 professionals to a private breakfast or luncheon. During the meal event, the sponsor will have the opportunity to give a presentation to familiarize guests with their company and areas of expertise. Sponsors are responsible for all food and beverage costs.
Awards Ceremony and Dinner − This special evening will put your company in the midst of the national award winners, celebrating their achievements and the many ways Head Start makes a positive impact on children across the nations. A sponsor representative will be seated at the head table. Tier 1 sponsors will be invited to make some remarks to guests. All sponsors’ logos will be projected throughout the event. Sponsorship includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program.
Research-to-Practice Luncheon − This luncheon brings together researchers from a wide variety of human development perspectives. A sponsor representative will be seated at the head table. Sponsorship includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on the program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program.
Alumni Reception − Join alumni from across the United States to celebrate the legacy of Head Start. Share memorable moments with colleagues and friends and celebrate Head Start’s commitment to children. This event raises awareness about the sponsoring organization among past, present, and future leaders from the Head Start community. The sponsor’s logo will be on display within the area and a sponsor representative will greet and address guests. Sponsorship includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program.
Parent Policy Council Recognition Dinner − Participate in a celebration of the many achievements of the Policy Council and honor those who are being recognized for their achievements. Sponsorship includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program. Tier 1 sponsors will be invited to greet and address the audience.
Public Policy Breakfast − Hear from leading voices on the challenges and opportunities facing Head Start. Meet with the advocates and supporters of Head Start. A sponsor representative will be seated at the head table. The sponsor’s logo will be on display within the area. Sponsorship also includes four tickets to the event, organization name and logo on program, and an opportunity to participate in the event program.
Affiliate Leadership Institute − State and Regional Head Start Associations will be key partners in the expansion of Head Start’s impact at the state and national levels. The Institute will focus on emerging issues within the field, focus on policy development, and dialogue and build capacity to face challenges by ensuring the network of associations is strong. A sponsor representative will be invited to make remarks to the group. The sponsor’s logo will be on display in the event area and on the program.
Special Training Events − Special training Events are a series of sessions featuring exciting, new, and innovative ideas to be shared within the Head Start community. These cutting-edge sessions (in the format of round tables, summits, and special training tracks) will promote growth and innovation while also staying faithful to best practices that have proven results. A sponsor representative will be given the opportunity to make brief, inspirational remarks to the audience. The sponsor’s logo will be on display within the area and in the program guide.
Opening Session and Welcome Reception − This festive event enables guests to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Held in the exhibit area, this well-attended reception is designed to promote conversation and exploration about resources available to Head Start. Event sponsors receive acknowledgement through signage and recognition throughout the event. The sponsors’ logo will appear in all conference print media prior to the conference. Sponsors will be allowed to provide a give-away for each guest. Sponsorship also includes organization name and logo in the program guide and the opportunity to participate in the event program.
Closing Session − Leave a lasting impression by sponsoring the closing session! The sponsor will receive prominent exposure to the second largest audience of the event. Your company will be thanked at the beginning and conclusion of the session and your company’s name and logo will appear on signage throughout the venue. A company representative be given the exclusive opportunity to place information on seats before the event. The sponsor will be allowed to provide a gift for each guest. Sponsorship also includes a company logo in the program guide.
Directors Education Forum − These informational events are exclusively for Head Start and Early Head Start directors, giving them the important opportunity to network with their peers from across the country to discuss challenges and successes. Have your company recognized in invitations sent to directors and at the event itself. The sponsor will be allowed to have a give-away for each guest. Sponsorship also includes organization name and logo in the program guide and the opportunity to participate in the event program. The sponsor is responsible for any food and beverage costs.
Continuing Education Services − The sponsor’s logo will appear on all CEU documentation, conference evaluations, advance marketing about continuing education units, marketing material, and conference program. Sponsor will be provided with a contact list of attendees pursuing continuing education credit. The sponsor will be allowed to offer a gift to each guest. Sponsorship also includes the company’s logo in the program guide.
Photo Booth − Add some serious fun to the event while getting exposure for your company. A sponsor representative can set up some materials to share with conference participants as they socialize at this gathering spot. Sponsor logo will also appear in the conference program guide. The sponsor is responsible for costs associated with the rental and operation of the booth.
Wellness Activities − NEW THIS YEAR! Add a little health and movement to keep conference participants energized throughout the conference with daily activities such as Zumba, health walks, and yoga. The sponsor’s logo will be displayed in pre-conference e-mails about the wellness activities, at the gathering spot, and in the conference program guide.
Learning Zone − NEW THIS YEAR! Sponsor designated areas for active learners where hands-on learning is offered in small group settings on particular learning topics occurring in half-day sessions. The sponsor’s logo will be displayed in pre-conference e-mails about the learning zone, at the gathering spot, and in the conference program guide.
Conference Breaks A.M./P.M. − Multiple sponsorships are available to provide light refreshments and snacks to attendees. Sponsor logos will be placed in the station area and the sponsor will be recognized during plenary sessions. The sponsor is responsible for any food and beverage costs.
Conference Tote Bag − Sponsorship of this item provides a tote bag to each conference attendee with NHSA’s and the sponsor’s logos prominently displayed on the front.
Conference Program Guide − Your company logo will appear throughout the conference guide as well as a brief note of thanks to acknowledge your contribution.
Conference Cyber Connections − The cyber connections is a popular gathering spot. Your company logo will be on the screen saver and company’s website set as the home page. The cyber connection is unique in that it is available at all times during conference dates.
Conference Lanyards − Badge holders and accompanying lanyards are one of the most visible parts of a conference. Your company logo will appear, alongside the NHSA logo, on each lanyard. This sponsorship will reinforce your company’s commitment to the Head Start Conference as attendees wear their lanyard each day.
Hydration Station − Conference attendees will thank you for quenching their thirst with water stations located in several areas of the exhibit hall and in the corridors of the conference sessions. The sponsor ’s logo will be placed in the station area.
Charging Stations − NEW THIS YEAR! A common inconvenience attendees face when they spend all day at a conference is that their cell phone’s battery dies. Keep attendees on site by allowing them to charge their cell phones in the Registration Area
Tote Bag Inserts − Pens, note pads, pins, and other pre-approved items will be placed in the conference bag for each attendee. Sponsor literature may be included (limited to the first five sponsors). Put your name right in the attendees’ hands! (Sorry, no food items.)
Special Event Memento − Have your company recognized on special take-home mementos given to conference participants who attend the featured events. Sponsorship also includes organization name and logo on the item or area signage as appropriate.
