 HEALTHY KIDS

Introduction | Health | Mental Health | Health Resource Links

The National Head Start Association is concerned about the alarming trends in childhood obesity and other nutrition-related diseases such as diabetes that are often caused by poor eating habits or inappropriate diets. To support Head Start programs and help to ensure children's health, NHSA has developed, with our partner HighReach Learning, a full six-week nutrition curriculum called Food, Fitness & Fun.”

For more information on the Food, Fitness & Fun nutrition curriculum, Click here, where you can order by credit card or download an order form to mail in.

You only need to buy the full Food, Fitness & Fun curriculum once. If you order your curriculum now, in subsequent years you need only order, for $39.99, the Food, Fitness & Fun classroom CD-ROM pack of “Good Food and Play” CDs to send home with your children each year.

Please support NHSA in making a change in children’s eating and exercise patterns. We hope that our association members will take a leadership role in promoting healthy habits.
