American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry has information on child and adolescent psychiatry, fact sheets for parents and caregivers, membership, current research, and practice guidelines.

The Child Advocate serves the needs of children, families and professionals while addressing mental health, medical, educational, legal and legislative issues. The Child Advocate offers child abuse information, child mental health information and research, and information booklets for children on coping with disaster.

Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health contains research and links to serve the needs of children and youth with emotional, behavioral or mental disorders and their families.

National Mental Health Association works to improve the mental health of all Americans by providing free educational publications, national programs and activities, and fact sheets.

National Mental Health Information Center is provided by the Center for Mental Health Services and has a broad database for many mental health related topics. It also includes information about children’s mental health and coping with traumatic events.
