Call for Papers:
Topics of Interest for 2008 include: evidence-based interventions in children and families for literacy development; evidence-based interventions in children and families for social-emotional development; mental health services need and availability in Head Start; resiliency in educational programs; and effective teaching in Head Start. The editor also welcomes proposals for special issues on: parenting in the context of environment risks; attachment issues in children from low-income families; multicultural (Latino) population in Head Start and impact on teaching, curriculum, and child development; or, media use (DVD's, Computers, Educational TV) in child care and education.
