Establish State/Regional Committees

Attached are four documents developed by the NHSA Research and Evaluation Department to help you establish research committees in your state/region. They are as follows:

• PowerPoint presentation that you can use to explain state/regional Head Start association research committees to individuals in your state/region. (PowerPoint/138 KB)
• Training and technical assistance paper to inform individuals in your state/region about research. (PDF/94KBsize)

Along with these documents, the NHSA Research and Evaluation Department can assist you as you assemble and operate your committee. This assistance can include sharing the experiences of other state/regional research committees and helping you to identify researchers and consultants in your state/region that could serve on your committee.
