State/Regional Committees
Research findings can guide best practices in Head Start and Early Head Start programs and impact policy making at the local, state, and national levels. The National Head Start Association (NHSA) encourages state/regional Head Start associations to establish state/regional association research committees. These committees are key in promoting research that strengthens Head Start and Early Head Start programs and improve outcomes for Head Start and Early Head Start children and families.
