About the Credentialing Program
Each year, NHSA offers the Administrator and the Mid Manager Credentials in a 4-5-day “conference style” format that delivers dynamic, current topics in program management and administration. An exciting curriculum includes learning modules that offer information and resources to address cutting-edge management knowledge and skills. An important focus of the Academy is motivating and empowering Head Start administrators and managers so that they can recommit themselves to Head Start’s vision and presenting new ways to empower their Head Start teams.
Daily lectures include extended learning experiences that help learners translate theory into practice. The Academy presents an opportunity to learn new skills and share with colleagues. There are approximately 14 mini-modules in the credentialing course.
A sample of mini-modules offered in the course include:
Principles of Effective Leadership
Strategic Planning and Achieving Outcomes
