This event will discuss:

  • Budget planning, analysis, management and projections.
  • Budget types: line-item, zero-based, activity-based and choosing the appropriate type of budget.
  • How ongoing budget monitoring can affect the quality of program service.

 

James L. Pasley Jr. is the CEO of Pasley and Associates. He has 27 years experience in human resource management and fiscal administration in the private, public, and academic areas, including at Tupperware Manufacturing Co., Wellman Industries, Central Carolina Technical College, and has provided T/TA services as finance and management specialist for Western Kentucky University. He served as CFO for H.G. Jones & Associates, and commissioner on the Health and Human Services Finance Commission of South Carolina. He provides mediation services to the United States Postal Service and consulting services to Danya International Inc.

Pasley received his MBA from Winthrop University, a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Charleston Southern University, and has had a variety of other training experiences.
