Day 1: COVID-Specific Finance and Funding Issues

Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 11 am-1 pm ET (10 am-12 pm CT)

During one of the most unique times in our history, your organizations face COVID-specific finance and funding issues. Interweaving CARES Act funds with your regular funding streams can be a challenge. In the first day of our two-day series, we will discuss the challenges of spending money using several sources at the same time, as well as looking at how to determine what costs get charged where. We will also discuss: cost allocation and indirect cost rates–are you allocating and applying these funds correctly? Allowability–are you aware of what purchases are allowable with this funding? Documentation–are you tracking these funds separately and correctly?

Day 2: Managing Your Organization’s Finances in Uncertain Times

Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 11 am-1 pm ET (10 am-12 pm CT)

In the second day of our two-day series, we will help organizations leaders learn to use tools to manage finances in every changing environment. In this session, we will learn to take budgets to forecasts and use the forecast model to timely understand and react to data. Using this information, you can be proactive about making educated decisions to steer your organization to success.
