Hill Prep: Preparing for Capitol Hill Virtual Visits

Want to know the secrets to a successful virtual meeting with congressional staff? Curious what is "the ask" that the Head Start community is uniting around this year, and how do we land our pitch? Or do you just want the best possible outcome of your visit? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this session is made for you! NHSA has been tracking and developing best practices for virtual visits for months now and this session is made to share the inside scoop on our plan to ensure that Congress continues to hear Head Start's needs loud and clear. We strongly encourage everyone attending hill visits on Wednesday to join this session to prepare and get comfortable with virtual hill visits. But it's so early (especially for those of you NOT on the east coast)?!?! No worries! We will be offering this session again after today's closing plenary.

Yet, we're still falling quite short in providing access to high-quality early childhood education for families across the united states - especially for children and families of color and in poverty. We will be joined by some of our field's thought leaders and action takers to discuss what might the future look like and how Head Start can help lead the changes our early childhood system so desperately needs.
