Teachstone and the National Head Start Association will host a series of one-day interactive boot camps for the Head Start community. Head Start leaders will gain skills and tips for improving teacher-student interactions, helping programs to boost their CLASS™ scores. The boot camp instructors will also be available during lunch to answer questions about how the CLASS measure can be used in dual-language settings. Each session will conclude with an emphasis on next steps and resources.

Participants will also:

  • Receive a free Pre-K CLASS Dimensions Guide.
  • Have the opportunity to participate in a follow-up webinar hosted by Teachstone’s instructors to review key lessons, address obstacles to implementation, and answer remaining questions.
  • Be eligible for 50% off Teachstone’s consulting services.  For $75/hour ($150 list price), NHSA boot camp attendees will receive support on implementing the CLASS system, including setting up protocols, gaining teacher buy-in, learning how to manage data, matching professional development to teacher needs, and providing feedback on CLASS observations.
