The Data Literacy Credential is a nine-month course aimed at educating managers and directors in data literacy; the ability to communicate about the use of data; and basic storytelling with data skills. To earn this credential, candidates must complete the three sequential five-week classes, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in data literacy and their ability to apply that information back in their programs.

This 9-month credential is for Head Start leaders who are physically present on-site most days of the week. Working alongside colleagues from across the country, candidates will learn best practices in management and leadership, discover how to set tone and culture, and develop skills to manage the day-to-day responsibilities that make up Head Start/Early Head Start programming.

This course includes independent online work, monthly virtual meetings, project-based learning experiences, problem-solving activities, and discussions about real-world issues site leaders are facing today.
