The Data Literacy Credential is a nine-month course aimed at educating managers and directors in data literacy; the ability to communicate about the use of data; and basic storytelling with data skills. To earn this credential, candidates must complete the three sequential five-week classes, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in data literacy and their ability to apply that information back in their programs.

This summer, nearly 400 health managers, nutrition experts, and Head Start directors—representing around 20% of Head Start agencies nationwide—shared their perspectives on barriers that children and families face when trying to access health services.
