Head Start managers and directors need a strong set of skills to provide the leadership necessary to move forward a high-quality program. NHSA's 2016 Manager and Director Academy will focus on critical issues facing Head Start!
Our highly skilled and sought-after 2016 faculty members include top consultants and professionals. In collaboration with NHSA’s Professional Development staff, the content is shaped by MDA advisor Kristen Hayes. With 10 years experience in program implementation and public policy formation, she has worked with organizations across the country to secure grant funding through two Federal departments, and helped grantees effectively utilize funds to meet required outcomes.
We have assembled a top-notch faculty each of whom has agreed to provide their expertise for the entire week of the Academy. Were you to engage any of our faculty members for the same period of on-site consulting it would likely cost much more than the expense of bringing your senior team to the Academy. For most programs it is simply not feasible to assemble a comparable team on-site!
This year’s Academy will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota home to great culture, museums, food and more! Minneapolis is known as the City of Lakes and its downtown area (where the conference will be) is SUPER walkable and stunningly beautiful in the summer.
