Representative Roger Freeman is a member of the Washington State House of Representatives, in the 30th Legislative District. Rep. Freeman attended Head Start at Highland Elementary in Omaha, Nebraska.
Before entering public service, Roger worked for 18 years as a public defender attorney representing those affected by mental illness, the homeless, and the poor. He has been a consistent advocate for those who have been disenfranchised by society. In the legislature, Roger serves as Vice Chair of the Early Learning and Human Services Committee.
Rep. Freeman remembers his time at Head Start fondly: “Head Start gave me a sense of home and a love of learning and gave my mother the freedom to enjoy being a parent.”
