National Head Start Association's Policy Agenda for the 117th Congress

The National Head Start Association (NHSA) Policy Agenda for the 117th Congress outlines the opportunities and challenges facing Head Start as well as NHSA’s specific positions on policies affecting the most vulnerable young children and their families. The agenda  reflects thinking and feedback from member programs; state, regional, and national Head Start associations; the NHSA Board; and Head Start parents, teachers, and staff. It should be considered a roadmap for educating policy makers and influencers, guiding NHSA’s decision-making, and advocating for changes in current law, regulation, and practice.
