Recognizing how Head Start uplifts our nation’s most vulnerable communities through unparalleled bold leadership.

The Head Start Read Aloud Challenge is an NHSA national initiative to read more. This is a challenge to adults who care about children to record yourself reading a story and then post it to social media. Through this initiative, we are promoting literacy and raising awareness of the learning loss that occurs when school is out for extended times.
