(This Institute will be held in conjunction with the National Head Start Manger & Director Academy) The Family Development Credential Program (FDC), administered by the University of Connecticut is a research-based professional development course and credentialing program for frontline family workers to learn and practice skills of strength-based family support.  This four day interactive train-the-trainer Instructors’ Institute will certify Head Start staff as instructors, who will then offer the FDC program by training staff in their local communities.
