Given that I have been blogging away these past few days I thought perhaps I should introduce myself. My name is Evita Almassi and I provide NHSA’s voice on our social media outlets. I am a Seattle-lite born and raised and like most Seattle-lites I love a good cup of coffee and am a dedicated University of Washington Husky Fan. WASHINGTON, DC – In advance of today’s deadline for submitting comments in response to the Notice of Proposed Rule Making for revised Head Start Program Performance Standards, 1200 Head Start practitioners and advocates – including every national, regional, and state Head Start Association representing all Head Start grantees – signed on to the National Head Start Association’s (NHSA) recommendations filed with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Head Start (OHS).
